Marching Band State Competition 2008

14/6/2008 A MEMORABLE day..[ is just for Jit Sin High School ]
This year competition is so-so only because there was just 6 teams competing for the goal..[but i think is just JS and CLB ]
This competition was held at City Stadium as same as last year...[ a memorable place for me too ]
My friends went there earlier than me..
when i reach home, she's already drive out from her house..[ she like to be punctual..xD]
she went there so early is because of i told her that the competition will be start at 2pm..
unfortunately, it was started at 3pm..
The place was crowded and it was VERY HOT!
But when i reach there i did not see our school band members..
it was surprised me, because our school band always will be the first one who reach the place..
but luckily they are just participate in March Out...
We waited for an hour...
FINALLY,
The first team came out..
That was..JIT SIN High School...
They are Champion for 4 years and we expected they will get on the 5th year..
Theirs performance is not as good as last year and their quality had drop..[ it's truth ]

The coming teams i dont think i will describe here..[ because i had forgot..xD]
After JS school, other team was too boring and we start yawning..
but there is one special malay school band..[i'd forgot what is the school name ]
this school can be consider as THE MOST SPECIAL or THE MOST "ENTERTAIN" TEAM..
They have their own COLOURguards [ they was very colourful..lolx]
all of them are malay girls n their dressing is really OMG!
We just pay attention on the colourguards and neglected the formation..
Actually this school band is not bad but they had chosen the wrong dressing for their colourguards
The dance and the dressing for the colourguards are very funny..lolx
but i only captured one of their photo..

Others i had skipped because of nothing special..[no offense here ]
The last team and also the incredible team for me..
Chung Ling Butterworth

They had improved a lot..
and made us say WOW! in every moment they did..
This is the only CLB photo i captured..because i was concentrate on their formation..

When we're waiting for the result, there was a march past for every school even though the non-participate school..

The result was still the same as last year..
at first we thought that CLB will be the champion because they did better..
But at last, the champion is still Jit Sin high school..
well, congratz to them for winning 5 years champion..

The Best Drum Major : Jit Sin High School
2nd Runner up: St. George
1st Runner up : Chung Ling Butterworth
THE CHAMPION : Jit Sin High School

In the Conclusion, this competition is just for Jit Sin High School..sigh~
